We hire live-in housemates to provide the support needed to facilitate regular activities having to do with building confidence, community connection, relationships and daily life management. That’s where you come in. We are looking for just the right individuals who are great communicators, happy, and open minded.  Ideal candidates are: 

· Are responsible and flexible.

· Able to keep an organized and neat home.

· Have a variety of hobbies and interests.

· Love sports, exercise, music and good food.

· Are patient and caring.

What are employment options and what support will I provide?

Our households are small individually-centered homes. Each one employs one to three live-in housemates. We also hire drop-in people to work shifts when our live-in housemates are not available. They too, become an important part of our living communities. Either way, the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively is essential. Keep in mind that these are not typical work environments – these are the peoples’ homes. No two are exactly alike because needs, wishes, and tastes differ. Employment requirements include:

· Having good references.

· Owning a car.

· Availability during some weekdays between 3:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

· Ability to work a part of each weekend.

· Compatibility with residents being served.

· Assisting with shopping, cooking and cleaning.

· Ability with money management, as needed.

· Personal hygiene assistance, as needed.

· Overseeing medical and mental health needs.

· Coordinating household management, such as chores, shopping, and paying bills.

· Socialization based on shared interests.

· Physical help, as needed.
